This is a gallery of Phill Singer’s work. All of the images are original oil paintings and are available as limited edition prints.

The original oil paintings can take from two to six weeks, sometimes even longer to complete.The process starts as a rough thumbnail sketch which helps the idea to take shape. When an idea is decided on Phill begins to gather reference. He shoots his own photo reference and searches through books and archives for pictures and drawings to help.The drawing alone can take up to a week. The finished drawing is then completed and transferred to the canvas. The paint is then applied and is built up in thin layers to the finish you see here.

The prints sold on this site are all created with the Giclée process.
